The BMW R100RS is a two-cylinder boxer, four-stroke Touring motorcycle produced by BMW between 1976 and 1989. It could reach a top speed of 116 mph (186 km/h). Max torque was 56.06 ft/lbs (76.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 58.74 HP (43.8 KW) @ 6500 RPM.
The R100RS, was heralded as “the most radical-looking motorcycle the modern market has ever seen” quite an accomplishment for BMW.
